The second-hand marketplace Members Share Anger Regarding Sizing Updates
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's garments but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
It has advised users to check their listings and manually change the size where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Modifications
Previously, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
User Experiences
One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: previously, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
